Taylor’s August Wrap Up & September TBR

I didn’t realize until the last few days of this month but I stuck in a horrible reading slump for 99% of August. I think I read so much this whole year that I just burned out. Pair that with not having a lot of time to read, I found a million excuses to not read this month. I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t read all the books that I wanted this month but I feel like taking most of a month off from reading as rejuvenated my reading. I’m very excited to tackle my TBR next month! So here’s what I did read for the month of August.

Hey Guys! So I did PHENOMENAL this month with reading. I was super surprised with myself! I read 8 books. And I want to read almost the same next month! I know it sounds a bit ambitious but who cares? I’m one book ahead of schedule for my reading challenge (which I’ve never done before) so I feel super positive about it.

The Titans Curse by Rick Riordan
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

Stephanie’s July Wrap-Up and August TBR

Okay, So, this month was awful for me. I feel like horrible about it but I read a pretty big book this month, so….it wasn’t so bad.

Coraline by Neil Gaiman
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

So yeah, three books. But, THREE VERY GOOD books.

Anyway, I felt like I fell into a big slump last month, so this month I already feel the want to read growing. I put down a very ambitious 6 books on my TBR and here they are.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
The Girl At Midnight by Melissa Grey
Hey Sunshine by Tia Giacalone (already 50 pages in)

So my favorite of this month was :
thone of glass coverThrone of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. LOVED this book.

And I think my most anticipated for this month might be :
12000020Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saez.  This book has had AMAZING reviews and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Stephanie’s June Wrap Up and July TBR

Hey guys, a little late getting into my wrap-up and TBR but that’s okay. My computer was just gone for like a week and a half. My poor baby. Anyway this is what I’ve read in June :

–Half of Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas was also read.

My favorite read this month I have to say was a tie sadly between ACOTAR and HP6

Taylor’s June Wrap Up & July TBR

I feel like I read a lot less this month then I did last month, even though it’s not that much less. Don’t get me wrong, I did pretty good but I’m a tiny bit disappointed. Oh well. I have a good feeling about July.

Stephanie’s Monthly Wrap Up & TBR March 2015

March 2015

So this month was kind of crazy for me, so I only read 4 books, sadly. I’m finding myself having trouble reading more than four books a month which is a bit frustrating, I’d like to get into audiobooks but I haven’t been able to, I’m not used to them yet, and I’ve started buying more books on Kindle so maybe that’ll help!

Either way, these are the books I read this month:

Harry Potter and The Prizoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling – 5/5
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab (Our Book of The Month for March!) – 5/5
An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir  – 3.5/5
The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty’s Prince by Serena Valentino – 3/5

So I need to find a way so get more books read, I don’t understand why/how I let the month slip by without reading so much so if you guys have any solutions, please let me know. But, without any further ado, here’s my April TBR!

Egg & Spoon by Gregory Macguire (Our April Book of The Month!)
Dare To Dream by Carys Jones  (This book was given to me by Carys for a read and review)
Landline by Rainbow Rowell
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

What are you guys planning on reading this April?
