Top 5 Books I Wish Had Sequels

I’m not really a fan of long series’ and I love standalones so this was kind of a tough list to think of. But I did find 5 books that I wish had sequels, or more accurately, companion novels.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

I love The Scorpio Races and even though I’m not sure where the story would go in a sequel, I would still love to see what Maggie would write.

Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis

Not a Drop to Drink already a sequel/companion novel, In a Handful of Dust, but I would love for a third book in this series. Not a Drop to Drink is one of my all time favorites and I think a third book would be amazing.

The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon

I just recently read The Bird and The Sword and I fell in love with the world that Amy Harmon created. I would love for a companion book to expand on the world building.

Sing by Vivi Greene

I thought this book was super cute and I would love for a companion novel. Maybe not with the same characters but with a new singer as the main character.

Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke

I don’t really know where the story would go in a sequel but I would be very interested in whatever April would write. I really enjoyed Wink Poppy Midnight and I think a sequel would be pretty cool.

What are some books that you’d like a sequel or companion novel for?
