March is around the corner and we’re all thinking about what we’re going to read. I know my TBR pile is a good four books tall right now, but there’s one that I’m looking forward to reading and hoping all of you will read it with me and Taylor. For the month of March Taylor and I will be reading  The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine and we hope you’ll all join us through means of social media and goodreads discussions.

We’ll be using #bibliomonthlyreads as a tag on instagram, twitter, tumblr and facebook. And when using these tags you’ll automatically be entered to win in our read along giveaway this month for a copy of  A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas! So please join us in enjoying this newly released book! And please comment with any questions at all!

March Read Along Announcement!

Book-of-The-MonthHey everyone! We’re announcing our Read Along for March book today! It’s an exciting new release that’s actually been getting a good chunk of hype from what I’ve been seeing. I’m super excited to announce this book because I’m getting back into fantasy and I’m sooooo excited for this.

23299513The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine
Published: February 16, 2016

Lorelai Diederich, crown princess and fugitive at large, has one mission: kill the wicked queen who took both the Ravenspire throne and the life of her father. To do that, Lorelai needs to use the one weapon she and Queen Irina have in common—magic. She’ll have to be stronger, faster, and more powerful than Irina, the most dangerous sorceress Ravenspire has ever seen.

In the neighboring kingdom of Eldr, when Prince Kol’s father and older brother are killed by an invading army of magic-wielding ogres, the second-born prince is suddenly given the responsibility of saving his kingdom. To do that, Kol needs magic—and the only way to get it is to make a deal with the queen of Ravenspire, promise to become her personal huntsman…and bring her Lorelai’s heart.

But Lorelai is nothing like Kol expected—beautiful, fierce, and unstoppable—and despite dark magic, Lorelai is drawn in by the passionate and troubled king. Fighting to stay one step ahead of the dragon huntsman—who she likes far more than she should—Lorelai does everything in her power to ruin the wicked queen. But Irina isn’t going down without a fight, and her final move may cost the princess the one thing she still has left to lose.

We’ll be reading this book for the month of March and we’ll be posting to social media using our #bibliomonthlyreads . We’ll be also doing a give away with this book, as per usual.

February Read Along Announcement

Book-of-The-Month

As most of you have noticed we’re doing a read along every OTHER month. So taking January as a time to re-group and figure out everything for a read-along. We finally decided on a book! And I’m really excited about it. It’s an author I’ve never read before and I’ve heard great things about said author. And ALSO we’ll be doing another giveaway. But without further ado, our February 2016 read along book is….

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover!

17788403

At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

A passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance, Maybe Someday will immerse readers in Sydney’s tumultuous world from the very first page.

We’re debating over a hashtag to use over social media. But we really do hope you guys join us for this. Colleen Hoover has been busting out so many books and they’re all so highly rated we wanted to share the experience of reading one together. Plus, the romancy stuff helps for Valentine’s Day

Happy Reading!

December Read Along!

Book-of-The-Month

Hey guys! I know our October Read Along was a bit rushed and didn’t happen as well as we hoped it would.

So with that being said, we’re prepping the whole month of November to give you guys a great Read Along for the end of the year.  Taylor and I will be reading a fairly new release we think a bunch of you have your hands on as well as  WANTING to get your hands on this amazing book.

We decided to read Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

23437156

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.

We’ll be reading this beginning December 1 and going to the end of the month with discussions which we’ll post all up at once at the beginning of the month so you can go through the discussions at your own pace and don’t have to wait for us to post up discussions.

We’re still trying to figure out the best way to post up discussions and have as many people participate so help us out and let people know you’re participating in our read alongs!

October Read Along Schedule!

Hey everyone just want to give an update for the schedule for our October Read Along! We’re trying to keep it easy, so we’re doing about 100 pages a week! The last week being Halloween! Yay!

Week 1: October 4 – 10 Pages 0 -120 (Chapters 1 – 27)
Week 2: October 11-17 Pages 121- 219 (Chapters 28 – 61)
Week 3: October 18-24 Pages 220 – 320 ( Chapters 62- 89)
Week 4: October 25 – 31 Pages 321-401 (Chapters 90 – 112)

Don’t get freaked out the chapters are super short, some chapters are “audio clips” where it’s a lot of dialogue so it should be too hard to get through plus 100 pages per week is less than 25 pages a day.

I’ll be setting up goodreads forums for every  week starting on Tuesdays and they’ll be open all week as readers go through and want to chime in. Keep in mind you’re automatically placed into our give away with the first 2 posts you post in our discussions!

Please join our group on goodreads (link above) if you haven’t yet! And grab your copy of The Dead House whenever you can and join in! We’re giving away Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman this month.

Join Us In Our October Read Along!

Book-of-The-Month
Another reminder that this is happening and it is a giveaway! Please join us! None of us like to read spooky books alone. So let us all join in in the creepyness and the thriller that is The Dead House!

22396591

We’ll be reading The Dead Housetogether week by week and having just open forums at the end of the week/during the week on our Goodreads Group. We know everyone loves a good creepy read along with the tradition of Halloween.

I will be posting the schedule for the week later today, as well as on here and the read along goodreads group. We urge you to join that group to be a part of this read along just because it’s easier to have threaded discussions on there than on our blog. We really do hope you guys join in on this one. It’s $9.99 on Kindle (how I’ll be reading it) and I DO believe $8.99 as a paperback. It’s supposed to be super immersive too, and I’ve only heard good things, but here’s a synopsis:

Part-psychological thriller, part-urban legend, this is an unsettling narrative made up of diary entries, interview transcripts, film footage transcripts and medical notes. Twenty-five years ago, Elmbridge High burned down. Three people were killed and one pupil, Carly Johnson, disappeared. Now a diary has been found in the ruins of the school. The diary belongs to Kaitlyn Johnson, Carly’s identical twin sister. But Carly didn’t have a twin . . .

Re-opened police records, psychiatric reports, transcripts of video footage and fragments of diary reveal a web of deceit and intrigue, violence and murder, raising a whole lot more questions than it answers.

Who was Kaitlyn and why did she only appear at night? Did she really exist or was she a figment of a disturbed mind? What were the illicit rituals taking place at the school? And just what did happen at Elmbridge in the events leading up to ‘the Johnson Incident’?

Chilling, creepy and utterly compelling, THE DEAD HOUSE is one of those very special books that finds all the dark places in your imagination, and haunts you long after you’ve finished reading.

ALSO, We’re changing our giveaway book to Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman! I’m currently reading this book and falling IN LOVE with it. So if you haven’t picked it up yet, please enter our giveaway all you have to do is join our goodgreads group, follow us on some sort of social media of your choice and post during out discussion weeks and you’re automatically entered for this giveaway.

So, here are some links to social media if you’d like to follow us there as well as on here, and we hope to hear from you during our October Read Along. We’ll be doing about 100 pages per week, schedule to come.
