May Wrap Up and June TBR

May was a great reading month for me! I absolutely loved almost everything I read. I haven’t gotten around to posting ALL the reviews but here’s what we read in May.

I read a total of NINE books, I feel like I sprinkled in a good mix of stuff this month. But holy cow my reading this month EXPLODED. And I got to read so many great 5 Star (and almost 5 star) reads!

Here’s some quick reviews of the 9.
The Fine Print by Lauren Asher – 3 stars β€’ Fun read in terms of location, kind of spicy, wasn’t quite for me
Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano – 5 Stars β€’ Such a great mystery. Witty, fun, and great plot
Pretend You’re Mine by Lucy Score – 2 Stars β€’ Was just not my kind of romance
The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris – 3.75 Stars β€’ Great read for such a heavy topic, really gave a great sense of hope.
The Dragon’s Bride by Katee Robert – 2 Stars β€’ Some of this was good but couldn’t get over it being a dragon romance.
Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber – 5 Stars β€’ Super whimsical, great plot, fun twists.
The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber – 5 Stars β€’ Awesome continuation, AMAZING PLOT TWIST
The Serpent and The Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent – 5 Starsβ€’ Vampires, Romance, A battle-esque tournament, this book had me HOOKED.
Icebreaker by Hannah Grace – 4.5 Stars β€’ Love a long ass romance book, great spice, also really good plot if I do say so myself.

Onto my JuneTBR I’m trying to be sticking to (trying being the main word).

I’m putting up 9 books on my TBR. I’m starting to explore new mediums of reading. Physical, e-book and audio (which is what I’m most used to) but I’d like to try to read these books through all three ways. I feel like it’s also a really big breadth of genre, finally kind of exploring outside of the Romance genre which I really lived in for the last 4 years.
