When Warren has the opportunity to live with a female roommate, he instantly agrees. It could be an exciting change.
Or maybe not.
Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory.
I started Maybe Not the day after I finished Maybe Someday so everything was still really fresh in my mind. I thought that wouldn’t work in my favor, that maybe I would get bored. However, I think it worked out great. I didn’t know what Maybe Not was about before I started it. I thought it might be about Sydney before she met Ridge but it actually takes place at the same time as Maybe Someday and it’s in the perspective of Warren. I loved Warren so I was really excited that Maybe Not was about him.
I’m not normally a fan of novellas but I loved this one. I think it was totally relevant and added a lot to the characters of Maybe Someday. I really liked getting to know Warren better and I loved that we get some backstory on Bridgette. I do wish Maybe Not was longer. I would have loved it if it was a full length book.
