September Wrap Up and Spooky TBR!

Hey guys! I did another astonishing magical thing of reading a good chunk of books this September. Although towards the end of the month it’s felt like quite the slump. Yikes!
But here’s what I’ve got in that pretty little head of mine for a Wrap Up and TBR!

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon (E-Arc) 5/5 Stars
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell  2/5 Stars
Storm Front (Dresden Files #1) by Jim Butcher   (Audiobook) 4/5 Stars
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness  5/5 Stars
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas (1/2 Audio 1/2 Read)   5/5 Stars

1/2 of Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
15% of Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas.

So my favorite read of the month was a tie, between Everything, Everything and Heir of Fire. Two AWESOME books you should definitely pick up when you get a chance. I loved them both so much and highly recommend them!

Now for my OCTOBER TBR! It’s as always, over ambitious

An Inheritance of Ashes by Leigh Bubot (E-Arc *October 6 release)
The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater
Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
Nightmares! by Jason Segal
Night Film by Marisha Pessl
The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich *THIS IS OUR READ ALONG BOOK FOR THE MONTH!*
Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas (remaining 85%)
The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings
Illuminae by (E-Arc *October 20)
Misery by Stephen King
1/2 of Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman

What do you guys plan on reading this month? Any spooky reads for Halloween?

I am so glad to see that I was not the only one who thought that Fan Girl was just ok!

  • Stephanie

Yeah, it was alright, I’m not a big contemporary fan. I don’t think it was the right book for me. Although I did love Everything, Everything. That’s a great read! Not Rainbow Rowell, but still….it was super good.

  • Josephine

Oh dear, you gave Fangirl 2 out of 5 stars?! 😱
I’m so excited that you’re reading Queen of Shadows! I am still a puddle of incoherent feels thanks to the amazingness of that book! *cries happy tears*

  • Stephanie

Yeah I’m not a big contemporary fan…it didn’t do it for me and I had already read 2 contemporary books before Fangirl so maybe I just burnt myself out? But it was okay.

  • Josephine

OMG STEPHANIE YOU NEED TO LIKE, TWEET ME AS YOU GO. I want to fangirl with you!! Honestly, the ending is so epic it will make all your feelings explode 👌
