My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Oh my goodness. This book was phenomenal. I had a big issue putting it down and trying to do things like eat,sleep and go to work. This book consumed me and I just gobbled it all right up. It took me about two days to finish and with sure will power I’m sure I could read this in less than a day.

I LOVED the writing style and the interactivity with seeing things like post-it notes, drawings of things Maddy was seeing, as well as things like post cards etc etc. I really liked being able to actually see all that stuff. It gave the book more of a “I’m there with her and really seeing this through her perspective” type of feel. I loved the characters from this book, none of which really annoyed me except for one person… but it was surprising because I feel like in most contemporaries that I read I don’t really like the characters.

Everything,Everything has a wonderful mix of love, loss, happiness, sadness, and everything in between. It’s a absolute killer debut novel for Yoon and I’m kind of upset she hasn’t published anything before this. GIVE ME ALL THE NICOLA YOON BOOKS TO COME! I’m so thrilled and absolutely in love with this book, I’d re read it right away if I didn’t have a list of books taller than me to read.

I didn’t expect to love this the way that I did. And I’m so happy that I did love it as much as I do. I honestly felt the love, the excitement all emotions portrayed in this book. It didn’t make me cry but most definitely a tear jerker. And you all know it’s true because I’m not a big contemporary reader but the book was great!
