Side Characters That Deserve Their Own Series | Top 5 Wednesday
Top 5 Wednesday was created by Lainey at gingerreadslainey on YouTube.
This week, the subject for Top 5 Wednesday is Side Characters That Deserve Their Own Series. I spent all day thinking about what characters I was going to pick because I can’t think of a lot of side characters that I actually want a to have a series for. But I did come up with five characters that I would actually read their series if they got one and that I actually care about.
5. Tom Riddle from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
I would love a seven book series showing Riddle’s experience at Hogwarts as well as his summer… activities. I would love to know his thought process and how things went from bad to worse.
4. Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Maybe not a whole series but I would die for a book about Neville’s first year as a professor. I think it would be so funny and just great.
3. The founders of Hogwarts from Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Again, I would die for a series about Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. I would love alternating perspectives from all four of them though out the book(s) so we could get to know each of them.
2. Regulus Black from Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
I think a seven book series for Regulus would be so important to the HP world. I would love to follow Regulus though his schooling and seeing his relationship with his mother as well as Sirius and leading up to what happened in the cave,
1. The Marauders from Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
This is my top pick because I think %99.9 of people who have read HP would be down for this idea. I would love for a seven book series following James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew in alternating perspectives. I would sell my soul for this series and out of all my picks, I think this one is most likely to happen.
So I know this list was all HP characters but I couldn’t think of any other characters that got me excited like these characters.
What do you think of my picks? What are your picks? Comment down below or link me to your Top 5 Wednesday post/video!
