Who are the Rat Queens?

A pack of booze-guzzling, death-dealing battle maidens-for-hire, and they’re in the business of killing all god’s creatures for profit.

It’s also a darkly comedic sass-and-sorcery series starring Hannah the Rockabilly Elven Mage, Violet the Hipster Dwarven Fighter, Dee the Atheist Human Cleric and Betty the Hippy Smidgen Thief.

This is one of my favorite graphic novels ever! It’s right up there with Saga.

I loved the characters so much! I can’t pick a favorite but I love Betty so much! Each character was different and super well written. I loved how the whole book was female character driven.

It was so fast paced and I loved every second. I read it all in one sitting and I wish I had the second volume (which I’m ordering right now). There was so much  humor all though out the book. I had a hard time but laughing out loud every other page.

Overall, I highly recommend Rat Queens to everyone. If your new to graphic novels, Rat Queens would a great place to start. Or you’re stuck waiting for Saga vol. 5 (like me),  Rat Queens will help fill the void.
